Hello neighbors!! On this page I`ll be posting county music (or music that influences country music) from my collection of 78`s LP`s and 45`s. Most of what I`ll have here will be from about 1900 up into the 1950`s or so. I`ll try to use stuff that is not currently available to buy. All artists I`ll be posting recorded before 1950, but some recordings may have been made later than 1950. I hope you all enjoy what I`ll be putting one here!!

Woo Hoo thanks! I have this LP, I transferred it to cassette tape many years ago and it is way over-modulated.Plus I haven't had a turntable or tape deck in a long time. Can't wait to listen to a decent rip.

Thank you Allen for posting many of driftwoods music. I became a huge fan of his. I stumbled across an album that I believe was not released to the public. It is called Beautiful Buffalo River. I am posting it on YouTube for everyone to enjoy. My YouTube account is jimmydriftwoodfan. I hope you will check it out. Thanks again for all the great music

I think that most of these songs are available as part of the Bear Family boxset, Americana. I'm not sure with some of these titles, though...will take a listen.
