Hello neighbors!! On this page I`ll be posting county music (or music that influences country music) from my collection of 78`s LP`s and 45`s. Most of what I`ll have here will be from about 1900 up into the 1950`s or so. I`ll try to use stuff that is not currently available to buy. All artists I`ll be posting recorded before 1950, but some recordings may have been made later than 1950. I hope you all enjoy what I`ll be putting one here!!

Country Express - 16 Rompin` Stompin` Country Instrumentals

Here`s a nice budget label LP. I think the Nashville label was mostly re-issued material from Starday and possibly King. I`m pretty sure I have about all of these cuts on other LP`s in my own collection. I know a few of the songs on this LP are even posted on this blog already on other LP`s. At any rate, we might as well enjoy this music again collected in this LP. After all, it says right on the cover it`s a "Special Collectors Edition"! Happy listening!

It's a great record, i really like these compilations on the Nashville label.

This is a Reissue of Starday SLP 109 (even if the cover photo was used on many other lps on Nashville). lots of great stuff here and some are from other labels such as Mercury.Some Great rare early Bluegrass here as well.
