Here`s the next entry in my "series" of complete issued recordings. This is the only disc issued by this duet. This disc is pretty rough, but I`m pretty pleased with the sound quality I could get from it considering condition. Also there is a skip or two that I couldn`t get to play through.
Hand Me Down My Silver Trumpet sounds to me like it may have origins in the spiritual category. A pretty snappy fiddle/guitar singing duet. You Tell Me Your Dream And I`ll Tell You Mine sounds like a late 19th century tear jerker to me. The style is so different than the other side it`s sort of hard to believe it`s the same duet.
